Informed Assembly: From Structural Logic to Fologram-Guided Fabrication

This project explores how Fologram can support designers during fabrication and assembly process by providing real-time visual guidance. It introduces a workflow that starts with 2D structural analysis and moves into 3D stress-based reinforcement topology, connecting parametric assembly with considerations of structural stability and material performance. From design to fabrication, the process includes both additive and subtractive manufacturing methods, generating G-code or rapid code for robotic fabrication. Fologram is used in the assembly stage to translate digital notations into physical actions, helping align parts with design intention. This approach allows the design-to-fabrication process to stay both flexible and accurate, while responding to both structural logic and practical constraints.
